A poem about myself

My hair is dark brown

And so are my eyes

I’m 11 years of age

And I’m also very wise

My favourite day is Friday

My favourite season spring

I like to read and write

And I also like to sing

My parents are very kind

And sometimes can be grumpy

My siblings are very active

And always seem so jumpy

I have a lot of friends

They love to play with me

They have their own ways

With their own personalities

They love to run and play

Whilst I prefer to walk

They like to be quiet

And I just choose to talk

We have some different ways to do things

They like coffee I like tea

But one thing that I really know

Is I like being me!
