Supercat

Supercat

Introduction
Once upon a time there was a kitten, a kitten that loved nature.
This kitten was named Fluff. Fluff was looking for some food to eat when he suddenly found some leftover chicken lying on the walkway. It had something stuck to it but Fluff paid no absolute attention.

Paragraph 1
After Fluff ate the piece of chicken, he realized he was much bigger than before. And when he went back home, Fluff licked his paws and gave himself a wash, but what Fluff didn’t know was that he had armour all over his body. When he went into the bathroom to look in the mirror, he practised his meowing and all that came out was… Hi I am Fluff and I am a kitten.
He was amazed by the change in his voice. He went for another walk around town and every person he walked past started staring. “Meow” he said. But what actually came out was Hello.
Fluff started to realize that he could actually interact with humans.
What is happening to me?
Fluff said to himself.

Paragraph 2
As Fluff wondered to himself what would happen next, he suddenly had red eyes.
Aaaagh! He was shooting laser beams everywhere. So he asked everyone for some spare shades and after he finally got some, Fluff was safe from his newly known powers.
Then he heard a kid stuck in a tree crying and wailing.
Fluff then started running up to the tree and he started to fly.
WHOA, the girl said.

Paragraph 3
Thank you for saving me, said the girl. I have to get back to class.
And Fluff asked the little child where her school was.
“I go to Glen Innes School”. Said the girl.
Then Fluff suggested he could fly her back.
The girl replied, yes and when she got back to school, all the students and teachers started saying….
“It’s a bird”
“It’s a plane”
No! Said Fluff.
I am a cat.
“A supercat”, said the girl.
Thank you supercat.

Conclusion
You are welcome. From now on I am making a vow to watch over Glen Innes School.
And that he did.
Every Time there was trouble, Supercat was always there. And he got to know everyone else better.
And that is the story of Glen Innes School’s hero, Supercat.

revising

me.jpg
WALT: Revise fractions, decimals and percentages.

We played a game. In this game, we had to find a set of four,
the decimal, the fraction, the percentage and the picture.
For me, it was a little confusing and very difficult.
I couldn’t really understand the way the game was played, but after the game was finished, Mrs Ramkolowan let Stephanie and I have a little game of our own.
I started to understand and found 5 sets.
Next, I would like to practise this game a few more times.

Deserted!

Desert Island

It was a tranquil and sunny day when I found myself deserted on a tropical island. The sun was blazing with flames as I explored the island. It was really sandy and dry because everything was crowded by the rays of the sun.

It was lifeless on the island and everything there was untouched. It was a calm day until a sandstorm started drifting up above me. “SWOOSH”.  I quickly ran for the nearest and safest place around. Finally, I found a sand shed right next to a huge pile of sandy rocks. I thought quickly, then after a bit of asking myself what to do, I grabbed some rocks and threw them around the shed one by one, hoping my plan would work, and sure enough, it did.

“close call” I said to myself.
I scurried out of the sandy hut and wiped myself clean. “COUGH COUGH”, I coughed. The sand was so dusty from the shed. I wiped off all of the sand and walked back to the hot and sandy desert. When I got back, it was burning as hot as chilli sauce. As I drifted off to sleep I found myself in my room. “What a weird day”, I thought to myself.

This is a story I wrote about a dream on a deserted island.

My Summertime poem

SUMMERTIME POEM - Jazire

The sun is hot and steaming
The waves on the beach are gleaming.
They sparkle like stars in the night sky
While all of the little birds fly up high.

The kids like to roll around in the grass
And all of their parents get their peace at last.
Summertime is the time of fun
It's warm and calm under the sun.

So when it's summertime don't forget
to grab a hose and DO get wet.
Mmm Plums, Ice cream and chocolate chips
I eat them all up and throw away the pips.

Longer days and shorter nights
More time to play no worries in sight.

I love summertime!
